Yes, there is an age minimum of 2 years old. Please note that the airboat is loud and noisy, but Captain Gerald does provide ear protection for everyone just before your scheduled tour. No, unfortunately, there is no handicap accessibility. If you are able to comfortably take a step down into the airboat or have someone who may help you get into the boat, you will be able to enjoy the ride. If you are apprehensive about getting into an airboat comfortably, then we would not recommend the airboat tour.

It is sunny and hot in the Everglades! All guests should bring eye protection and sunscreen. Being in Florida means afternoon showers are possible – bring a rain jacket if needed. Water is provided; however, if you prefer another beverage, please bring it. If you are on a 2-hour or longer tour, you may want to bring a snack. Note: If you wear a hat, wear it at your own risk; hats may fly away in the wind… never to be seen again.
-
Summer: Wear light-weight clothing and sunglasses. Bring sun protection.
Winter: It gets chilly on the airboat ride, so wear long pants and bring a sweater or jacket.
-
The airboat will comfortably accommodate up to 7 people at a time, depending on size.
-
There are no restrooms at the airboat launching site. However, restrooms will become available halfway into the tour.
